My hand was covered in blood and gore,
All I knew was nothing more,
My body limped out on the shore,
Bruised, in pain, oh so sore,

The sky cracked and it began to pour,
A bird was hit and could no longer soar,
It fell; down, down, down, what a hole it bore!
It's body was burnt to the core.

And then I heard a mighty roar,
I saw it; the mighty door,
"And you're?"
The guard asked me as my body hit the floor.

I walked inside,
I think i cried,
I had died!
I had died...

I heard a sound,
I turned around,
I was once again on battleground,
Tt felt so profound,

The fighting raged on all sides,
Bodies clashing like ocean tides,
An unwindable battle; suicide,
As they took Death as their bride.

"No!" I scream,
Rewatching the gruesome scene,
Forced to relive, I sense a theme,
Torture; is that this thing?

I see myself,
A knight of the Twelfth,
On the floor,
Crawling away... You coward!

Fallen into the sea,
Unable to kick without a knee,
Floating on debris,
Is that an island I see?

My hand was covered in blood and gore,
All I knew was nothing more,
My body limped out on the shore,
Bruised, in pain, oh so sore,

And then I drop,
Hitting the sand in a flop,
My heart had stopped...

And it begins again.
